Freshly Baked Cakes

Good news, cakes freeze extremely well! This can save you time and hassle ahead of your party or special occasion.

You can bake your cakes in advance and freeze them (before decorating) for up to 3 months.

To do this:

  • Leave the greaseproof circle on the baked cake, this will help to keep it moist

  • Wrap each layer separately in a layer of cling film and a layer of tin foil

  • Pop in the freezer for up to 3 months

  • Remove the cakes from the freezer 2-3 hours before decorating to allow to thaw
